I worked with Akiko at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. We are a Dementia Team in a large London NHS Trust and first met Akiko through her interest in representing people living with dementia through her art. She both volunteered and worked with us on numerous projects, including our intergenerational project, our activities and arts work and our collaboration with the internationally recognised Drama school, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Her presence at our events always added joy for the patients, she has an extraordinary ability not only to capture a moment and imbue it with beauty, but also to put people at ease whatever the situation. Her knowledge about and respect for people living with dementia meant that she was able to show them in a new light which has influenced their families, the staff and senior management at Imperial and changed attitudes to dementia across the trust. It was an enormous privilege and pleasure to work with Akiko and I very much hope that she will continue her work with people living with dementia in the future.

Akko is a truly gift photographer. I am very nervous in front of the camera and do not like my picture to be taken. Akko made me feel so comfortable and made the entire experience a lot of fun. She also took the time to capture my natural self. I was so impressed by the results that I booked her for a second photo shoot for professional head shots for my public speaking engagements. I highly recommend Akko and she will be my go to photographer going forward.

娘の１歳の誕生日記念に撮影をお願いしました。太陽の下、自然体で素敵な瞬間を沢山切り取ってくださいました。こちらからの要望を丁寧に汲み取ってくださり、相談しながら撮影に臨めたのでとても満足しています。 娘をあやすのも上手で、休憩も適宜入れてくださったので娘も頑張ることができたと思います。また、撮影に不慣れな私たちにポーズの指示もして下さったので非常にやりやすかったです。最高の記念になりました。本当に有難うございました！！

長男の七五三で 作品が大好きな洸子さんにファミリーフォトをお願いしました。 スタジオではなく、和装で美術館で撮りたい！！と私のわがままを叶えてもらいました。 写真は大満足の仕上がり！！

7歳の息子の撮影をお願いしました。 息子は、優しく楽しい洸子さんの誘導で、まるでプロのモデルさんのように、次々と自然なポーズをとり、見ている私も楽しくなるような雰囲気を作って下さいました。出来上がったお写真にはストーリーがあり、写真や被写体への愛情を感じました。 更に、私と息子の写真も撮って下さったのですが、これがものすごく自然な仕上がりで、親子の愛を強く感じると友人達にも大好評で、普段写真写りの良くない私にも大満足の家宝となりました。 これまでファミリーポートレートは写真館を含めて、幾度となくお願いしてきましたが、洸子さんのお写真はダントツに素晴らしいです！折を見てお願いしようと思います。よろしくお願いします。

息子の１歳のお誕生日の記念を残したいと思い、カメラマンさんを探していました。ロンドンには日本人の方々を含めたくさんのカメラマンさんがいます。あきこさんご自身も、お問い合わせした際には「是非いろんなカメラマンさんの作品をみて決めてみてください」とおっしゃってくださり、ゆっくり決めさせてくださった程です。そのような経緯があり、いろいろな方の写真を拝見しましたが、あきこさんの写真の撮り方、仕上げ方の完成度は非常に高いと感じ、なによりも作品からは被写体への優しい気持ちが感じられ、絶対にあきこさんに頼みたいと思いました。当日は1時間強の撮影でしたが、息子を終始あやしてくれ、たくさんの笑顔を引き出してくれました。普段なかなか撮れない家族全員でのショットもとても気に入っています。自宅での撮影でしたがスタジオで撮ったようにきれいな仕上がりに感動です。暖かくなったころにはぜひ今度はお外でもお願いしたいです。
